Michael Baisden is a well known American author, motivational speaker, Host of the once-lived TV One talk show Baisden After Dark, and of course Host to his very own nationally-syndicated radio show.  He is one to ignite discussions around topics such as: Living Your Dream, Your Body Is Your Temple, Do Women Know What They Want?, Pimps in The Pulpit, etc. It's not a surprise Michael Baisden picked up on LOV considering his topics actually aligning with a lot of what LOV stands for in today's world.

Since March, The Michael Baisden Show started highlighting a new business as the Business of the Week... this week being LOV Magazine! Our very own Editor in Chief, LeMar L. Joichin III was invited to the station for an interview that will be played over in 72 syndicated cities, and of course can be streamed online at www.BaisdenLive.com. We will be featured on their website as well as their social networking sites all week. The whole premise of LOV in The Gentleman Redefining the Modern Man will be discussed as he introduces this new interactive men's lifestyle magazine to listeners nationwide.

LOV Magazine Red Carpet Cocktail Mixer at RnB Live's 3 Year Anniversary Celebration with Bobby Valentino

This past Wednesday, Mar. 30th, LOV Magazine once again joined forces with Elite Entertainment and Icon Entertainment to celebrate LOV's launch as well as RnB Live Hollywood's 3 year anniversary. It was a night to remember when the red carpet was rolled out at the beautiful Cotton Club located in Studio City, California.  The standing room only event featured headliner Bobby Valentino, as well as dozens of celebs such as Tyrese, Tank, Pooch Hall, Lance Gross, Kym Whitley, Leslie "Big Lez" Segar, Kenya Moore, Teairra Marie, Marlon Wayans, Tommy Davidson, Steph Jones, Chris Spencer, and many more. Before Bobby V. appeared on stage attendees met the LOV staff, savored cocktails and world-class cuisine, mingled with celebs and enjoyed a personal look at the Spring issue of LOV which featured Nick Cannon, Teairra Mari, Chris Spencer, Tameka Jacobs, and Meagan Good. Needless to say, the event reached capacity at 11:30pm but unfortunately was shut down early by fire marshals.

We sincerely LOV and appreciate the support from everyone at the event. LOV Magazine's NBA All-Star Grooming Suite + Launch of Premier Print Issue Hosted by Coverboy Nick Cannon

Friday, February 18th, 2011 marked an important date in the history of LOV Magazine when it launched its premier print issue during the star-studded NBA All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles, CA. LOV's event was an exclusive, invitation-only Grooming Suite held at the old-world, upscale Brighton Shave Co. located in the heart of Beverly Hills. The red carpet event attracted Hollywood celebrities, professionals and athletes, and showcased the first class grooming expertise of the Brighton Shave staff. The centerpiece of the event was an exclusive sneak peek of the Spring edition of LOV Magazine, both in print and interactive touch screen formats. The event quickly filled to maximum capacity as LOV models and staff mixed and mingled with guests, while everyone enjoyed gourmet hors d'oeuvres, cocktails and the sounds of host and DJ Nick Cannon. As a show of appreciation to friends, guests and corporate partners, LOV giftbags were distributed that contained a few products that every gentleman should possess.

LOV Magazine Release Party Hosted by Teairra Mari

Friday, January 14th, 2011, LOV Magazine had the pleasure of bringing out "The Princess of R&B", better known as the beautiful Teairra Mari to host a release party held in the heart of West Hollywood at Haute Nightclub.  The R&B artist recently shot a new cover for LOV Magazine, which was displayed for the attendees to see in the roped off VIP section overlooking the dance floor.  Flashes were continuously going off throughout the night as shots were being captured of the beautiful crowd, including well respected celebrities, the sexy LOV models and LOV staff, and of course the party goers that just came out to simply have a fun, sexy night out in Hollywood.  Sparklers from bottle service, bodies moving, and the hottest music spun by Violator Jam-X definitely fulfilled the night for all who were able to witness this successful event.  The party was later blogged and posted on www.theybf.com.

Black Friday's "All Black Affair" Charity Event with New Image Shelter

It’s that time of year: colder temperatures, Christmas lights, joyous times with loved ones, and the time to give! It’s holiday season and LOV Magazine wanted to help make a difference this time of year by helping put a smile on the faces of the less fortunate within our local Los Angeles community.  On Friday, November 26^th, 2010 (“Black Friday”), LOV Magazine hosted an “All Black Affair” charity event at Haute Nightclub in West Hollywood to specifically help New Image Shelter’s children during the holiday season.  Attendees were asked to bring an unwrapped toy in efforts of bringing the warmth back into these homeless children’s hearts.  Hosted by actor Lamorne Morris, many celebrities showed support by attending with gifts in hand.  American Idol’s Season 9 contestant Paige Miles, Actresses Cherie Johnson and Jennia Fredrique were a few names that definitely helped make a change with New Image Shelter. Reality stars known as “Real” and “Chance” were also in attendance with the rest of the people who were all dressed in black to follow the “All Black Affair” theme on that “Black Friday”.  Sounds of the hottest hip hop and R&B were provided by the lovely DJ EQ as the crowd partied for a purpose. The night closed with a sweet treat as LOV Magazine brought out custom made LOV Magazine cupcakes that were given out in the VIP section to show their appreciation to those who came and supported this important charity event.

R.E.i.G.N. Saturdays Grand Opening Hosted by LOV Magazine Calendar Models

If you weren't at Opera+Crimson Nightclub on Saturday, October 16th, 2010, you definitely missed a one-time event! LOV Magazine's beautiful calendar models had the pleasure of hosting the grand opening of R.E.i.G.N. Saturdays at this charming, sexy venue. The ladies caught the eyes of the attendees waiting in line by stepping out in a stretch limo in which they were immediately escorted through the dim lights to the roped off VIP section that overlooked the whole club. It was definitely a packed house and the crowd was already moving to the sounds hitting the speakers by DJ Mike Smooth. They were greeted with chocolate covered strawberries and bottle service to start off their fun-filled night. KD Aubert, Wesley Jonathan, Tameka Jacobs, and Zena Foster were just a few of the celebrities and models that kept the VIP section sexy and exclusive. Attendees were able to catch a glimpse and briefly feel the LOV experience by seeing the beautiful calendar models seated at the table next to the enlarged premiere cover of LOV Magazine that was also on display. Topping off the night, a tasty, creatively made cake for the special event was delivered to the roped off section for the VIP to enjoy and conclude the eventful evening.

R&B Live: Birthday Celebrations of Lisa Raye, Greg Lites, & LeMar Johnson

LOV Magazine along with Icon Entertainment joined forces Wednesday, September 29th, 2010 to bring out some of the hottest celebrities, taste makers, & socialites in the Hollywood scene in purpose of celebrating the birthdays of actress Lisa Raye, Icon Entertainment's Greg Lites, and LOV Magazine's Editor in Chief, LeMar Johnson.  Upon immediate arrival at the Key Club in West Hollywood, guests were greeted with complementary cocktails to the sounds of smooth live R&B performances.  Tables were available for comfortable seating to allow guests that wanted to indulge in the delicious cuisine accessible on the menu. Comedians Joe Torry and DeRay Davis kept the crowd laughing in between the talented musical acts to add the sugar and spice to the evening's overall flow.  Lisa Raye, Greg Lites, and LeMar Johnson, along with other celebrities made their way to the stage as the performances concluded and as Deejay ER began to spin the hottest records to get the crowd moving on the dance floor.  The party continued to rock throughout the night as the audience got a chance to finally rub elbows and really get up close and personal with the hottest taste makers of Hollywood.  It turned out to be a spectacular night indeed, with many more to come!
